The closest ski shuttle access is the Sakka car park, located 80m (1 minute on foot) away where you will have access to ski shuttles to Hakuba 47, Goryu and Iwatake resorts.
Upper Wadano is one of Hakuba’s most popular locations. With excellent easy walking distance access to the spectacular slopes of Happo One, here you will also find a nice selection of restaurants, bars, rental stores and other amenities, including Central Snowsports rentals and the wonderful Azekura onsen, which is available to rent privately.
Upper Wadano sits at the base of Happo One, the largest of Hakuba’s 10 ski areas. The prime location offers unparalleled access to the Happo One ski lifts at the Sakka base area, which is ideal for beginners and experts alike. With wide and gentle beginner slopes, a kids snow park and easy access to the Evergreen International Ski School (located at the Kokusai chair lift base), upper Wadano is an ideal location for families. For more advanced skiers, the Sakka lift base area offers quick and easy access to Happo One’s upper slopes via the high speed Sakka quad lift.
Other resorts in the Hakuba Valley can be accessed easily via the free shuttle buses which stop in various locations throughout upper Wadano.
