Hirafu Village is Niseko's main hub. Here you will find most of Niseko's restaurants, shops, bars and other amenities, including the Japan Ski Experience Niseko office where our ground service team is based.
Hirafu Village sits at the foot of Grand Hirafu, the largest of Niseko's 4 interconnected ski areas, which offers sensational on and off-piste powder skiing and spectacular flood-lit ski runs at night.
Akari Niseko is ideally placed in a secluded setting in between Niseko’s Hirafu village and Hanazono, an easy drive in either direction to the slopes. A rental vehicle is strongly recommended when staying at this property, to easily get to and from the lifts and the village shops and restaurants.
The free village shuttle is located just 5 minutes walk, so you can also easily get into Hirafu to enjoy the slopes, shops and restaurants, all just a 5 minute drive. There are also several restaurants within walking distance, including the famous Ichimura Soba.
