Niseko Hanazono Ski Resort will be getting a bit of a facelift in the 2021-22 ski season, with the long-awaited new lifts planned for 2021 construction, enabling Hanazono Ski Resort to greatly increase its base capacity.
The two new lifts consist of a 10-person Gondola, linking up to the top station, as well as a 6-person Poma lift. Two new courses will also be unveiled with the opening of the Gondola stations.
Hanazono Symphony Gondola
The brand-new 10-person Poma monocable circulating ropeway gondola will climb the 1362 meter distance in 5 minutes, linking guests up to the top station. The new gondola will feature spacious compartments with individual leather seats.

New Courses
The Gondola will open up two brand new courses on the eastern part of the mountain. The top station will be an entrance to the new Colly’s Folly course which runs between the top Gondola station and the middle station. The middle station will give access to Juicy Fruit (formerly a part of Stairway to Heaven), which is suitable for beginners.
