Niseko Hirafu Snow Report 2nd January 2021
It just keeps on snowing! Another 16cm of new snow fell in 24 hours and the temperature at 8am was a toe tingling -12ºc. Snow is forecast morning, afternoon & evening for the next week with no strong winds on the radar. Hopefully this means more backcountry gates opening up soon but conditions for skiing and snowboarding in Niseko and across Japan remain superb.
The driveway is clear, now just need to dig out the cars!
The Japan Ski Experience snow station is located in Niseko Hirafu at an elevation of 210m above sea level.
