Niseko Hirafu Snow Report 6th January 2021
A healthy top up of 11cm of new snow has been recorded in Niseko Hirafu and the temperature at 8am was -8ºc. We woke up to clearer skies this morning with the sun trying to make an appearance. Not too much snow is forecast to fall today so it could be a good day to get as much snow clearing done as possible before the big snowfall anticipated for Thursday evening.
Fantastic powder conditions awaited for all skiers and snowboarders who hiked up through Niseko Backcountry Gate #3 to the peak of Mt. Annupuri yesterday.
The Japan Ski Experience snow station is located in Niseko Hirafu at an elevation of 210m above sea level.
