JSE Niseko Snow Report 16th January 2021
Not too much to report today with only a couple of centimetres of wet, slushy snow recorded on the JSE Niseko Hirafu snow station. The temperature at 8am was an unusually warm 1ºc. There was actually more snow on the snow station last night and from the condition of what remains this morning it looks like we may even have had a little rain overnight. Not the worst morning to sleep in or get some chores done! More importantly the temperature should drop throughout the day today and snow is forecast to start falling again from late afternoon onwards.
Great conditions for skiing and snowboarding yesterday with good visibility and untouched powder easy to find across the Niseko ski resort areas.
The Japan Ski Experience snow station is located in Niseko Hirafu at an elevation of 210m above sea level.
