Niseko Hirafu Snow Report 5th January 2021
More snow to report in Niseko Hirafu with a 10cm top up recorded in 24 hours. The temperature at 8am was -8ºc. Yesterday was the last day of the Japanese New Year holidays so we decided to avoid the daytime crowds (not so much of an issue this year!) and go up for a few turns at night under the lights. Night skiing in Niseko is an excellent escape, especially after it has snowed during the day, and highly recommended as one of the best experiences you can have as a skier or snowboarder.
Taking the Ace Quad Lift #2 (Center 4) up at night to ski Niseko's world famous powder snow under lights.
The Japan Ski Experience snow station is located in Niseko Hirafu at an elevation of 210m above sea level.
