Niseko Hirafu Snow Report 9th January 2021
What a start to the weekend! 25cm of new snow has fallen in the last 24 hours and the temperature at 7:30am was -9ºc. The fresh snow is the incredibly light, dry champagne powder we have long come to expect in Niseko but it has been a few years since we've had the volume and consistency of snow we have been experiencing this winter. Conditions for skiing & snowboarding in northern Japan will be superb today. Conditions for snow clearing are less excellent!
Japanuary delivers once again in Niseko with 25cm of fresh powder, and we are not even one third of the way through the month!
The Japan Ski Experience snow station is located in Niseko Hirafu at an elevation of 210m above sea level.
